How much is the Jungle Zipline tour in 2026?

The 8-line tour is from $177 per adult on Viator ($159 direct), and the 5-line tour from $154 ($139 direct).

Both tours run from the same base at 50 E Waipio Rd in Haiku and use the same guides and gear. The difference is the number of lines and bridges, and about half an hour.

Why does Viator cost more than booking direct?

On the 8-line tour you pay about $18 more per adult on Viator; in return you get free cancellation up to 24 hours before, reserve-now-pay-later booking and a price that already includes taxes and fees.

The Viator price is quoted with all taxes, fees and handling charges included. If you book direct, check at checkout whether Hawaii tax is added on top and what the operator's own cancellation terms are before you compare like for like. Either way you are on the same tour with the same guides.

What does the ticket include?

Eight ziplines, an 85-foot suspension bridge and two swinging bridges, helmet and harness, professional guides, water and a snack bar halfway and chips and drinks at the end.

The 5-line ticket includes five ziplines, the suspension bridge, water and snacks. Neither ticket includes hotel pickup or gratuities, and you are welcome to stay on in the grounds afterwards.

Is the 8-line tour worth the extra over the 5-line?

Usually yes: on Viator it costs $23 more for three more lines, two swinging bridges and about 30 extra minutes, and guests rate the last three lines as the best.

The 5-line tour makes sense for nervous first-timers, children at the young end of the range, or a tight morning before the drive to Hana. For everyone else the full course is better value per line.

How much do children pay?

On the 8-line tour, children pay half price when they ride with a paying adult: ages 6 to 14 on Viator and 6 to 16 on the operator's online special.

On Viator the child band on the 8-line tour is 6 to 14, so a 15 or 16-year-old pays the adult price there but may count as a child direct. The 5-line tour has no child discount on Viator. Children must be at least 6 and meet the weight limit; see weight and age limits.

What else should you budget for?

Fuel for the drive to Haiku, cash to tip the guides, and a meal on the north shore.

There is no hotel pickup on any Maui zipline here, so you need a car. One guest who took an Uber out to Haiku could not find one back, so price in a return ride booked in advance if you do not drive. Paia, on the way, is the obvious stop for lunch.

What happens if someone is over the weight limit?

They cannot ride, and there is no refund: everyone is weighed at check-in, and the limit is 250 lb.

The minimum is 45 lb on the operator's site and 50 lb on the Viator listing. One guest's husband had to sit out after a 90-minute drive; she wrote that she had not seen the limit when booking.
